‘TUF 15’ Vet Pichel Returns from 3-Year Absence, Meets Brown at UFC Fight Night 110

After a three-year hiatus, “The Ultimate Fighter 15” cast member Vinc Pichel will return to the Octagon when he faces Damien Brown at UFC Fight Night 110.

The promotion confirmed the lightweight bout on Thursday. UFC Fight Night 110 takes place on June 10 in Auckland, New Zealand, and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt pitting Mark Hunt against Derrick Lewis.

Pichel is likely best remembered for falling victim to multiple suplexes in a loss to Rustam Khabilov in his promotional debut at the “TUF 16” finale, but “From Hell” rebounded to post decision triumphs over Garett Whiteley and Anthony Njokuani in his next two outings. He has not competed since outpointing Njokuani at UFC 173 on May 24, 2014. The 34-year-old Californian is 9-1 as a professional overall.

A native of Queensland, Australia, Brown enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak. After falling to Alan Patrick Silva Avles in his first Octagon foray, “Beatdown” knocked out Cesar Arzamendia in the first round at UFC 201 and took a split verdict over Jon Tuck at UFC Fight Night 101 this past November. The 32-year-old owns a 17-9 career mark.
