‘TUF 17’ Finale Salaries: Urijah Faber Tops Payroll with $110,000 Purse
Former WEC bantamweight champ Urijah Faber earned $110,000 for his submission win over Scott Jorgensen at Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 17” Finale, according to figures released Monday by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
For his main-event victory at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, the “California Kid” took home $55,000 in “show” money and an additional $55,000 win bonus; Jorgensen pocketed $23,500 in defeat. Faber’s check was the largest on the card by a significant margin, with undercard featherweight Cole Miller earning the next most at $42,000.
