‘TUF 21 Finale’ Weigh-in Results: Jake Ellenberger-Stephen Thompson Headliner Official



In a division where they find themselves looking up at fighters like Robbie Lawler, Rory MacDonald and Johny Hendricks, Jake Ellenberger and Stephen Thompson can ill afford a misstep.

Ellenberger at Saturday’s official weigh-in checked in at 170.5 pounds ahead of his five-round welterweight clash with Thompson (170.5) in “The Ultimate Fighter 21” Finale headliner at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the 11-bout card taking place on Sunday in the shadows of a UFC 189 event that features a pair of title fights.

“The Ultimate Fighter 21” Finale -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT -- will also feature a women’s strawweight clash pitting former Invicta Fighting Championships titleholder Michelle Waterson (115) against Angela Magana (115.5), a bantamweight tilt pairing onetime King of the Cage champion Russell Doane (135.5) with Jerrod Sanders (136) and three American Top Team-versus-Blackzilians welterweight battles, as Jorge Masvidal (*170) meets Cezar Ferreira (171), Hayder Hassan (170.5) faces Kamaru Usman (170.5) and Michael Graves (170.5) confronts Vicente Luque (171).

Two hours prior, Fox Sports 1 will also carry four preliminary bouts: George Sullivan (170.5) vs. Dominic Waters (171), Maximo Blanco (*148.5) vs. Mike de la Torre (145.5), Caio Magalhaes (185) vs. Josh Samman (186) and Trevor Smith (185.5) vs. Dan Miller (184). The lone remaining undercard matchup will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, as Darrell Montague (125.5) squares off with Willie Gates (125.5).
