TUF 24 Finale Weigh-in Results: Demetrious Johnson, Tim Elliott Clear Final Hurdle

The grand finale of The Ultimate Fighter 24 will commence Saturday night and in the main event, Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will put his title on the line against Tim Elliott. At Friday morning’s weigh-ins, both of the featured fighters, as well as the rest of the card, were all on point, giving the event the green light.

Elliott secured his chance at UFC gold by winning TUF 24. The longtime veteran cleaned out the TUF house, going 4-0 in the process and dominating Shooto flyweight champ Hiromasa Ogikubo in the semifinals. “Tournament of Champions” was the angle of the season, as Elliott stood head and shoulders above 15 other 125-pound champions from various MMA promotions from across the globe. At the scale on Friday, Elliott came in at 125 pounds for what will be the biggest fight of his life.

Johnson, meanwhile, was business as usual coming into the fight, where he is a massive betting favorite. In fact, “Mighty Mouse” is such an overwhelming favorite that many online sportsbooks such as Bovada don’t even have odds posted on the fight. Regardless, the AMC Pankration superstar is as focused as ever and when he weighed in, he came in at a solid 124.5 pounds.

The TUF 24 Finale will take place at the Pearl inside the Palms Resort Casino in Las Vegas. The action will begin on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT before switching to FS1 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT for the remainder of the event.
