‘TUF 26’ Finale Weigh-in Results: Finalist Sijara Eubanks Removed From Card

By Brian Knapp Nov 30, 2017

The odds were stacked against Sijara Eubanks, and it appeared as if she had overcome them. Those with this opinion spoke too soon.

Eubanks will not face Nicco Montano after being pulled from “The Ultimate Fighter 26” Finale main event due to medical reasons related to a failed weight cut prior to Thursday’s official weigh-in. Instead, Roxanne Modafferi (124) will challenge Montano (124.5) for the inaugural Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s flyweight crown on Friday at Park Theater in Las Vegas.

“The Ultimate Fighter 26” Finale -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- will also feature a middleweight clash pitting Eric Spicely (185.5) against Gerald Meerschaert (185) and a pair of bantamweight tilts, as Joe Soto (135) meets Brett Johns (135.5) and Terrion Ware (136) faces Sean O’Malley (135.5). Two women’s flyweight battles round out the six-fight main draw: Barb Honchak (125.5) vs. Lauren Murphy (124.5) and DeAnna Bennett (126) vs. Melinda Fabian (126).
