‘TUF 28’ Winner Macy Chiasson to Meet Gina Mazany at UFC 235 on March 2

“The Ultimate Fighter 28” featherweight winner Macy Chiasson will drop to 135 pounds to face Gina Mazany at UFC 235.

The promotion recently confirmed the booking to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. UFC 235 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 2 and includes a welterweight showdown between Ben Askren and Robbie Lawler. A headliner for the card has not been announced.

Chiasson finished Larissa Pacheco and Leah Letson on the reality show before submitting Pannie Kianzad at the “TUF 28” finale on Nov. 30 to win the 145-pound tournament. The 27-year-old owns a 3-0 professional mark that includes a decision triumph against Allison Schmidt under the Invicta FC banner.

Mazany, 30, has lost two of her three Octagon appearances. Most recently, the Las Vegas resident dropped a unanimous verdict to Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 130 on May 27. The Xtreme Couture product is 5-2 as a professional overall.
