Taisumov, 27, enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak, with successive KO/TKO victories over Alan Patrick Silva Alves, Anthony Christodoulou and Marcin Bandel. The Russian was supposed to face Chris Wade at UFC Fight Night Boston last month, but visa issues forced him to withdraw from the contest.
A 29-year-old native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hadzovic boasts a 10-2 professional record, with eight victories inside the distance. His two defeats came against UFC talents Krzysztof Jotko and Andreas Stahl.
Tybura, the former M-1 Global heavyweight king, was widely regarded as one of the top heavyweights outside the UFC before he signed with the promotion. The Polish fighter has won 13 of his 14 professional appearances, including a first-round stoppage of Ante Delija in his most recent outing this past September.
Johnson, meanwhile, debuted in the Octagon with a first-round technical knockout triumph over Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas” in April. He came up short in his sophomore outing, however, dropping a unanimous decision to Jared Rosholt in August.
