Tecia Torres Steps In to Face Juliana Lima at ‘The Ultimate Fighter 25’ Finale

Tecia Torres face Juliana Lima on short notice at "The Ultimate Fighter 25” finale on July 7.

Torres replaces Amanda Ribas, who was flagged by USADA for a potential anti-doping violation last week. The Las Vegas Review-Journal initially reported the new strawweight contest. The “TUF 25” finale takes place at T-Mobile Arena and is headlined by a lightweight clash between Michael Johnson and Justin Gaethje.

Torres, 27, has been victorious in four of her first five Octagon appearances, with her only defeat coming against Rose Namajunas at UFC on Fox 19. Most recently, “The Tiny Tornado” outpointed Bec Rawlings at UFC Fight Night 104 on Feb. 4.

Lima, meanwhile, has won three of her last four contests, including a unanimous verdict against J.J. Aldrich in her most recent appearance at UFC Fight Night 102 on Dec. 9.
