Three Bouts Added to Bellator Kickboxing’s Florence Card

The rapidly-rising Bellator Kickboxing promotion isn’t pulling any punches -- or kicks -- with its next show, which is slated for Dec. 10 in Florence, Italy.

The promotion announced late Tuesday that American lightweight Kevin Ross (31-9) will take on local fighter Alessio Arduini (2614-2) while popular knockout artist Joe Schilling (19-9) will go toe-to-toe with Victorio Lermano (30-7) in a middleweight bout. Bellator Kickboxing welterweight Karim Ghajii (96-13-1) will take on Italian Luca Novello (22-4-2) in a non-title bout to wrap up the kickboxing portion of the card.

Denise Kielholtz (45-3) will have a rematch with Gloria Peritore (11-1-1) to determine the promotion’s inaugural Bellator Kickboxing female flyweight world champion and Giorgio Petrosyan (82-2-2) will lock horns with Jordan Watson (48-11-2) in the main event.

Headlining the mixed martial arts portion of the card will be the middleweight championship where Rafael Carvalho will defend his crown against lethal striker Melvin Manhoef. Italy’s own Alessio Sakara taking on Joey Beltran in a light heavyweight encounter as well.

Both Bellator 168 and Bellator Kickboxing: Florence will be broadcast on Spike, though exact details remain to be announced. Additional bouts for Bellator 168 will be announced in the coming weeks.
