Timothy Bradley and Diego Chaves will square off in a scheduled 12-round welterweight fight Dec. 13 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Bradley and Chaves are both coming off loss in their last outing.
Bradley (31-1, 12 KOs) dropped a decision and his welterweight strap to Manny Pacquiao in their April 12 rematch of his hugely controversial split-decision victory over “Pac-Man” in June.
"I'm excited to get back into the ring and showcase myself," Bradley told ESPN.com. "Chaves is not that well known but the boxing fans know him. The boxing fans know that this guy can fight and that it won't be a walk in the park for me. I think it's going to be a great fight. I can't wait."
Chaves (23-2, 19 KOs), was defeated by Brandon Rios via controversial disqualification. Vic Drakulich, the referee working the fight, called a stop to the proceedings after Chaves threw an elbow.
