Newsday first reported the matchup. UFC on Fox 25 takes place at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y. on July 22 and is headlined by a middleweight tilt between Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum. The card will also include a showdown between bantamweight prospects Jimmie Rivera and Thomas Almeida.
Johnson was victorious in his first appearance of 2017, as he took a split-decision triumph over Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC Fight Night 107 on March 18. The North Dakota native is 3-2 in the Octagon overall and also owns triumphs against Marcin Tybura and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
Albini will enter his Octagon debut on a nine-fight winning streak. The 26-year-old Brazilian has compiled a 13-2 career mark, with 11 victories coming via knockout, technical knockout or submission.
