Unbeaten welterweight prospect Tom Breese will return to the Octagon when he faces Keita Nakamura at UFC Fight Night London on Feb. 27.
Promotion officials announced the pairing on Friday. UFC Fight Night takes place at the O2 Arena and features a middleweight tilt pitting Michael Bisping against Gegard Mousasi. The evening’s main card will air on Fox Sports 1.
Breese improved to 9-0 at UFC Fight Night in Dublin on Oct. 24, as he dispatched Cathal Pendred via technical knockout 4:37 into the opening round. It was the second consecutive first-round finish in UFC competition for the Tristar Gym product, who put away Luiz Jorge Dutra Jr. in the first frame of their May 30 encounter.
A 39-fight veteran, Nakamura enters the contest on a five-fight winning streak. The Tokyo native submitted Jingliang Li via third-round rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night “Barnett vs. Nelson” in his promotional debut, his 16th career triumph via tapout.
