Szczerze minimalnie faworyzowałem Johnsona no ale to co odwalił to nie mam pytań#ACA114 pic.twitter.com/SG36Xm7rBO
Bellator MMA and One Championship alum Tony Johnson is going to celebrate Thanksgiving in a big way after capturing the Absolute Championship Akhmat heavyweight belt.
The co-main event saw Nikola Dipchikov (20-7) square off with Rafal Haratyk (13-4-2) in the middleweight division. The match started slowly, as Dipchikov utilized unorthodox movement and footwork to come out of his corner. His opponent Haratyk looked as if he wanted to knock his head off with every punch he threw. The Bulgarian capitalized on the wild aggression, targeting a blistering left hand that rocked Haratyk. Sensing the finish, Dipchikov pressed on the accelerator and nailed his opponent with another left hand, dropping Haratyk to the canvas and forcing the referee to jump in and stop the action at the 3:44 mark of the first stanza. In his post-fight interview, Dipchikov staked his claim for a crack at Salamu Abdurahmanov’s championship in his next fight.

It took three rounds of hard work for Aurel Pirtea (22-11) to edge UFC vet Levan Makashvili (17-4-1), but eventually, the Romanian fighter convinced the majority of the judges cageside. “The Miner” looked to move the action on the canvas for the majority of the fight while Makashvili fought hard to keep it standing. In the second stanza, Pirtea was inches away from securing a guillotine choke finish, but his Georgian opponent resisted the submission attempt. In the third, Pirtea punished Makashvili with some hard shots, and did enough to take home a split decision victory.
Elsewhere, Leonardo Limberger (14-1) overcame Dmitriy Parubchenko (14-2) thanks to the judges’ unanimous scorecards in a 145-pound affair. In the opening fight of the main card, Bartosz Lesko (10-1-2) upended Rene Pessoa (22-7) via unanimous decision at the end of a close, hard-fought battle.
