Krzysztof Jotko will attempt to rebound from the first loss of his pro career when he meets Tor Troeng at UFC Fight Night Sweden on Oct. 4.
UFC officials announced the bout on Thursday. The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Ericsson Globe Arena and is headlined by a welterweight duel between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.
Jotko is coming off a submission loss to Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night “Munoz vs. Mousasi.” A native of Poland, Jotko racked up 14 consecutive wins prior to that defeat, including his UFC debut against Bruno Santos last December.
Troeng enters the bout riding a two-fight losing streak after dropping consecutive decisions to Rafael Natal and Trevor Smith. Prior to that, “The Hammer” had been victorious in eight out of nine bouts. Troeng entered the UFC following a stint on “The Ultimate Fighter 17,” where he lost in the preliminary round to Josh Samman.
