Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres says his title loss to Brian Bowles was a blessing in disguise.

The August 2009 defeat prompted Torres to study his own flaws -- not just his opponents’ -- and it refocused him ahead of his matchup Saturday at WEC 47 against Joseph Benavidez. In this exclusive interview with TJ De Santis, Torres also discusses the guard in MMA and the possibility of a rematch with Bowles.
