Total Combat Returns
OCEANSIDE, Calif., Nov. 4 -- Originally scheduled at a different
venue altogether, promoters were forced to postpone last month's
Total Combat event. With only a few weeks notice and in front of a
packed audience, the Show Palace made its first delve in mixed
martial arts playing host to TC 24 Sunday evening.
Just three bouts went to the judges, making it a great night of finishes, including a 15-second knockout courtesy of Frank Salgado, as well as a great back-and-forth war between Jesse Newell (Pictures) and Joe Nicholas (Pictures).
