"The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" Season 1 middleweight tournament finalist Moraes is coming off of a recent decision loss to Anthony Rocco Martin at UFC Fight Night 146. Prior to that, he became the first fighter to ever submit Ben Saunders, tapping him with an arm-triangle choke at UFC Fight Night 137.

His opponent Alves suffered the first stoppage loss of his career at the hands of James Krause at UFC Fight Night 135 last year. Prior to the loss, he finished Sultan Aliev and won a decision over Salim Touahri. Winner of Season 3 of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" at middleweight, he dropped down to welterweight after putting Marcio Alexandre Jr. to sleep, and has competed there ever since.

The final lightweight champion of Resurrection Fighting Alliance, Moises unsuccessfully challenged for the Legacy Fighting Alliance lightweight strap after the companies merged. From there, Moises stopped Gleidson Moraes Cutis on the Brazilian version of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series to earn his shot in the UFC. Moises was unsuccessful in his debut at UFC Fight Night 139 last November, losing a decision to Beneil Dariush.

Holobaugh has yet to record a victory in his two stints inside the Octagon after three attempts. His two recent UFC bouts saw him lose a "Fight of the Night" clash against Raoni Barcelos by knockout, and most recently getting tapped in just over two minutes by Shane Burgos. The former featherweight and interim lightweight Titan Fighting Championships champ, Holobaugh competed on the debut episode of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, where he scored a quick knockout over Matt Bessette only to have the win overturned due to his use of an IV.

UFC 237 will take place on May 11 at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro. Headlining the event will be a strawweight title fight between Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade. Also on the main card will be will be former featherweight king Jose Aldo competing against surging contender Alexander Volkanovski.
