The UFC Fight Night 131 lineup continues to grow, as the Las Vegas-based promotion recently added to new contests to the June 1 card.
Belal Muhammad will face Niko Price at welterweight, while Julio Arce will meet Daniel Teymur at featherweight, UFC officials confirmed to uticaod.com. UFC Fight Night 131 takes place at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., and is headlined by a pivotal bantamweight tilt between Jimmie Rivera and Marlon Moraes. The card will air on Fox Sports 1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
A former Titan FC champion, Muhammad is riding the momentum of a three-bout winning streak, including a split verdict over Tim Means in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 121. Price, meanwhile, is coming of a second-round submission of George Sullivan at UFC on Fox 27 that improved his career mark to 11-1.
Arce, a longtime Ring of Combat veteran, extended his winning streak to six with a unanimous decision victory over Dan Ige in his Octagon debut at UFC 220. Teymur, a native of Stockholm, dropped a three-round verdict against Danny Henry in his first promotional foray at UFC Fight Night 113.
