Two-Division Champ Aung La N Sang to Defend Middleweight Crown at One ‘Spirit of a Warrior’
One Championship middleweight and light heavyweight title holder Aung La N Sang will return to action on June 29.

The 33-year-old Sang has won seven of his last eight fights. Most recently, “The Burmese Python” captured the One Championship light heavyweight crown with a 56-second stoppage of Alexandre Machado on Feb. 23. Sang is 22-10 with one no contest over the course of his professional career.
“Whenever Aung La N Sang steps foot on Myanmar soil, he is greeted by throngs of screaming fans. He truly is Myanmar’s biggest star, and is a great representative of the country’s strength and resolve,” One Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in a release.
A native of Kanagawa, Japan, Hasegawa is coming off a first-round submission of Genpel Hayashi at Deep 82 Impact on Feb. 24. The 31-year-old has compiled a 16-2-1 professional mark since beginning his pro tenure in 2010.
