Fresh off a first-round victory at UFC 180, Kelvin Gastelum will make a quick turnaround when he faces Tyron Woodley at UFC 183 on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas.

The welterweight matchup was announced by Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tuesday. The pay-per-view event will be headlined by Nick Diaz against Anderson Silva, and also features Miesha Tate facing Sara McMann.

Gastelum will enter the Octagon riding a ten-fight winning streak to open his professional mixed martial arts career. Since winning “The Ultimate Fighter 17” finale against Uriah Hall, the 23-year-old has rallied off wins against Brian Melancon, Rick Story, Nicholas Musoke, and most recently Jake Ellenberger. The Yuma United Mixed Martial Arts product has faced increasingly tough competition, ultimately culminating in his matchup against “The Chosen One.”

Woodley has been out of action since August after defeating Dong Hyun Kim by technical knockout at UFC Fight Night “Bisping vs. Le.” The win put the Missouri native back on the right track after dropping a unanimous decision to Rory MacDonald at UFC 174.
