UFC 107 Card Finalized

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has finalized its UFC 107 card slated for Dec. 12 in Memphis, Tenn. Champion B.J. Penn, who will put his lightweight title on the line when he squares off with challenger Diego Sanchez, headlines the 11-bout card.

Also scheduled to fight is former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir. He will take on potent striker Cheick Kongo for a chance to get back into the title picture.

Jon Fitch will face Mike Pierce in his quest to rematch champion Georges St. Pierre. Pierce burst on the scene with an upset victory over Brock Larson this summer, and should prove a challenge for the more experienced Fitch.

Another former title contender, Kenny Florian, will return to the Octagon to face the always-tough Clay Guida. Florian, who was stopped by Penn at UFC 101, will look to rebound from the tough loss. He will have a formidable challenger in Guida, who is known for his indomitable spirit in the cage.

Rounding out the main card is a heavyweight fight pitting veteran big man Paul Buentello against promising youngster Stefan Struve. A former title challenger in the UFC, Buentello is returning to the organization after stints in Strikeforce and Affliction. Struve has racked up back-to-back wins after dropping his first UFC bout to top contender Junior dos Santos.
