The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to Los Angeles now has its second confirmed matchup.

UFC officials Monday announced that Shayna Baszler and Bethe Correia will meet in a 135-pound affair on the Aug. 2 event at Staples Center. The card is headlined by a UFC featherweight title rematch between divisional ruler Jose Aldo and top contender Chad Mendes.

Baszler, 33, will make her long-awaited Octagon debut after more than one year on the shelf. “The Queen of Spades” was slated to face Sarah Kaufman in April but withdrew from the bout due to an undisclosed injury. The owner of a 15-8 professional record, Baszler suffered an exhibition loss to Julianna Pena during the 18th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Correia, 30, last month earned a unanimous decision against Baszler’s teammate, Jessamyn Duke, at UFC 172. Now, the Brazilian will look to defeat a second member of the “Four Horsewomen,” an unofficial team which includes Baszler, Duke, rising prospect Marina Shafir and UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey.
