UFC 177 ‘Dillashaw vs. Soto’ Real-Time Weigh-in Results

By Mike Fridley Aug 29, 2014
In a matter of hours, the mixed martial arts world will know for certain who the sport’s best bantamweight is ... or so we thought.

Just three months ago, T.J. Dillashaw turned the 135-pound rankings upside down with a shocking upset of Renan Barao, who had not tasted defeat in his last 33 bouts.

Following the Team Alpha Male fighter’s conquest, an immediate rematch was announced. But before the athletes were to settle their dispute, they would have had to hit their contracted marks on the scale ahead of UFC 177.

According to a report from the Brazilian outlet Combate, Barao passed out while cutting weight on Friday and was taken to a Sacramento, Calif., hospital. Not surprisingly, the Brazilian did not show up for licensing or medicals with the California State Athletic Commission. A source close to the bout told Sherdog.com that Joe Soto will now get the 135-pound title shot against Dillashaw.

In addition to a free video stream of the UFC 177 weigh-ins, Sherdog.com will offer live text-based results below. Please refresh often, as this item is updated in real time.
