UFC 177 Salaries: Bantamweight Champ T.J. Dillashaw Earns Event-High $100,000

Bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw took home the biggest payday at UFC 177.

With his fifth-round KO over last-minute challenger Joe Soto in the evening’s main event, the Team Alpha Male product earned $100,000. Soto, meanwhile banked $20,000 in defeat.

The California State Athletic Commission released the “show” and “win” salaries for the event to Sherdog.com . UFC 177 took place at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif., on Saturday night.

Elsewhere, Tony Ferguson banked $40,000 for his split-decision triumph over Danny Castillo ($36,000) in the evening’s co-main event, while middleweight Derek Brunson garnered $44,000 for his three-round verdict over Lorenz Larkin ($28,000).

Note: The disclosed purses reported by state athletic commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion. Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not include any sponsorship money that a fighter may acquire for their performance.
