UFC 178 Weigh-in Results: Demetrious Johnson, Chris Cariaso Official for Headliner
Demetrious
Johnson has a stranglehold on the
Ultimate Fighting Championship’s 125-pound division, and
Chris
Cariaso would like nothing more than to be the man who breaks
it.
Johnson tipped the scales at 124.5 pounds for his five-round defense of the flyweight championship against Cariaso (124.5) in the UFC 178 main event on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Lightweight co-headliners Donald Cerrone (155) and Eddie Alvarez (155) also met their contracted weight requirements without issue at Friday’s official weigh-in.
