UFC 183 “Silva vs. Diaz” featured a fair amount of violence, as evidenced by the medical suspensions handed out by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

While main-eventers Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz escaped relatively unscathed, five fighters on the card could be facing six months on the shelf for injuries sustained at last Saturday’s card in Las Vegas.

The card took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and the main card aired on pay-per-view.

Notably, Tyron Woodley came out of his split decision win against Kelvin Gastelum with a broken foot. The welterweight even went as far as posting his X-ray on social media, showing visible breaks:

In addition, Miesha Tate was unable to look up for most of the post-fight press conference on Saturday due to her eye injury. On the opposite end, Sara McMann escaped from their bantamweight encounter with no injuries requiring time off.
