“The Ultimate Fighter 17” finalist Uriah Hall will meet Rafael Natal in a middleweight showdown at UFC 187.
Promotion officials announced the matchup on Thursday. UFC 187 takes place on May 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by a light heavyweight title tilt between Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson.
After struggling in his first two Octagon appearances, Hall has won three straight fights with the Las Vegas-based promotion. In his most recent outing, “Primetime” scored a first-round stoppage of short-notice foe Ron Stallings at UFC Fight Night “McGregor vs. Siver” on Jan. 18. The 30-year-old also owns wins over Thiago Santos and Chris Leben during his promotional tenure.
A 12-time Octagon veteran, Natal enters the bout with Hall having won two straight fights. “Sapo” concluded his 2014 campaign with a split-decision triumph over Chris Camozzi before kicking off 2015 with a three-round verdict against Tom Watson at UFC 183.
