UFC 190 Update: Warlley Alves to Face Nordine Taleb in Rio de Janeiro

A welterweight clash between Warlley Alves and Nordine Taleb has been added to the UFC 190 lineup.
Promotion officials revealed the matchup on Wednesday. UFC 190 takes place at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro and is headlined by a women’s bantamweight title clash between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia.
Alves is unbeaten in eight professional outings. The X-Gym product submitted Marcio Alexandre Jr. in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night “Miocic vs. Maldonado” before taking a unanimous decision over Alan Jouban in his most recent appearance at UFC Fight Night “Shogun vs. St. Preux.”
Taleb, meanwhile, is unbeaten in three bouts with the Las Vegas-based promotion. The 34-year-old Tristar Gym product owns triumphs over Vik Grujic, Jingliang Li and Chris Clements in UFC competition, with each of those victories coming via decision.
