Two lightweights who have not seen action since 2014 are set to clash at UFC 196.

Ultimate Fighting Championship officials on Monday announced that Justin Salas and Jason Saggo have been paired for a three-round bout on the March 5 undercard.

Salas, 33, has been out since July 2014, when he suffered a second-round stoppage loss against Joe Proctor. The owner of a 3-3 record inside the Octagon, “J-Bomb” is best known for producing a vicious knockout of Ben Wall in May 2014.

Saggo, 30, will compete for the first time since October 2014. The Ontario native has fought twice in the UFC, besting Josh Shockley in his debut before dropping a split decision to Paul Felder.

Headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Rafael dos Anjos and challenger Conor McGregor, UFC 196 will take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The bout between Salas and Saggo will be broadcast either online via UFC Fight Pass or on the Fox Sports 1-televised prelims.
