UFC 196 Weigh-in Results: Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz Official for Main Event

People follow the crowd, and the crowd follows Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight titleholder and resident cash cow Conor McGregor.

McGregor clocked in at 168 pounds, as he moves up two divisions to face Nate Diaz (169) in the UFC 196 main event on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm (134.5) and challenger Miesha Tate (135) also met the contracted weight requirements for their assignment in the co-headliner at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC 196 “McGregor vs. Diaz” -- which airs live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- will also feature a women’s bantamweight clash pitting MMA Masters rep Amanda Nunes (136) against Valentina Shevchenko (134) and a pair of light heavyweight battles, as former Ring of Combat champion Gian Villante (205) meets Ilir Latifi (205) and “The Ultimate Fighter 19” winner Corey Anderson (204) confronts Tom Lawlor (204.5).

Two hours prior, Fox Sports 1 will carry four preliminary bouts: Brandon Thatch (170) vs. Siyar Bahadurzada (170), Erick Silva (170) vs. Nordine Taleb (170), Vitor Miranda (185.5) vs. Marcelo Guimaraes (185.5) and Chas Skelly (145.5) vs. Darren Elkins (145.5). The three remaining undercard matchups will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT: Jim Miller (155.5) vs. Diego Sanchez (156), Justin Salas (156) vs. Jason Saggo (155.5) and Julian Erosa (156) vs. Teruto Ishihara (146).
