UFC 198 Weigh-in Results: Fabricio Werdum, Stipe Miocic Cleared to Fight

At Friday’s weigh-ins, the challenger was the first of the main event combatants to step onto the scale. Miocic, who is coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Mark Hunt and former champ Andrei Arlovski, looked as ready as ever as he weighed in officially at (241) pounds.
Werdum, who has quietly carved out one of the greatest heavyweight careers in the sport’s history, had the full support of the rabid Brazilian fans behind him. Looking as trim as ever to defend his crown, “Vai Cavalo” checked in at (240) pounds, looking to extend his unbeaten streak to seven.
UFC 198’s co-featured bout will see former heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort aim to keep his middleweight title hopes alive when he locks horns with dangerous grappler Ronaldo Souza. “The Phenom” weighed in at (185) pounds while “Jacare” tipped the scale at (186).
One of the most intriguing bouts of the evening will be the UFC debut of the most feared woman in all of MMA when Cris Cyborg climbs into the Octagon for the first time. “Cyborg” will take on Leslie Smith in her promotional debut and on Friday she looked as ferocious as ever. “Cyborg” weighed in at (139) pounds while Smith came in at (139).
UFC 198 will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on UFC Fight Pass, followed by the live prelims on Fox Sports 1. At 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, the main card will go live on pay-per-view.
