Michael Graves will lock horns with Bojan Velickovic at UFC 201 on July 30.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the welterweight bout on Tuesday. UFC 201 takes place at Philips Arena in Atlanta and is headlined by a 170-pound title tilt between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley. In the co-main event, Demetrious Johnson will defend his flyweight strap against Wilson Reis.
A cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter 21,” Graves outpointed Vicente Luque at the reality show’s finale in his Octagon debut before submitting Randy Brown with a second-round rear-naked choke in his most recent outing at UFC on Fox 19. The 25-year-old American Top Team product is 6-0 in his professional career overall, with all but one victory coming inside the distance.
Velickovic, meanwhile, debuted in the Octagon with a unanimous verdict against Alessio Di Chirico at UFC Fight Night “Rothwell vs. dos Santos” on April 10. The former Resurrection Fighting Alliance talent enters the matchup with Graves on a five-fight winning streak. He is 14-3 as a pro, with eight wins via submission and three by KO/TKO.
