Brazil’s Iuri Alcantara scored arguably the most impressive win of his career as he destroyed local fighter Brad Pickett in just a few minutes.
After nailing “One Punch” with a spinning elbow and flooring him with a left hook, Alcantara nearly knocked the Brit out. But Pickett was able to somehow survive the onslaught but he wasn’t out of the woods. After a brief scramble, Alcantara mounted his foe, attempted a mounted triangle, moved to an armbar after Pickett defended and when his sub attempt was thwarted again, Alcanatra rolled his opponent over into a triangle from guard. Pickett, who was bleeding badly from the nose and mouth, couldn’t escape and tapped out at the 1:59 mark of the first.
