UFC 207 Betting Odds: Rousey Remains Slight Favorite Over Champ Nunes

UFC 207 has nearly arrived, but there is still time to hustle to your nearest sportsbook and drop some hard-earned coinage on the fights. When looking at the odds for the UFC’s final event of 2016, there are some solid options to turn a profit.

The headliner of the night is ballyhooed showdown between reigning women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, as she makes the first defense of her title against one of the most popular athletes in the world. Ronda Rousey will make her long-awaited return to the Octagon after losing her belt to a Holly Holm head kick more than a year ago, and she’s a slight favorite to reclaim her crown.

As of Thursday afternoon, various online sportsbooks in Las Vegas pegged “Rowdy” Ronda as a -140 favorite over Nunes. Conversely, the Brazilian champ is a slight underdog at +110. While the odds aren’t going to make anybody rich overnight because of how close the experts have handicapped the duel, a profit can be earned by laying money on Nunes.

The co-main event will see men’s bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz hold the fort against upstart knockout artist Cody Garbrandt. There is no love lost between the two rivals and both have been talking tons of trash leading up to their encounter. While Garbrandt can end a fight with one punch, he remains an underdog at +170. Cruz, meanwhile, is predicted to win using his awkward style and excellent experience; “The Dominator” is a firm favorite at -210.
