If his fight with John Lineker was supposed to be a demand for another crack at the UFC’s bantamweight title, T.J. Dillashaw stated his case better than Johnny Cochrane.

The former champion befuddled, perplexed and bedeviled his foe from the start, tagging him on the feet and taking him down whenever he pleased. And once Dillashaw had the Brazilian off his back, he unloaded an endless waterfall of punches and elbows to the iron face of Lineker and easily won virtually every minute of every round. In the end, even the Las Vegas judges couldn’t screw up the decision and gave it to Dillashaw via tallies of 30-26. T.J. demanded a crack at the 135-pound title after his win.
