New York native Gregor Gillespie will get a chance to compete on home soil when he locks horns with Andrew Holbrook at UFC 210.

Promotion officials announced the lightweight booking on Wednesday. UFC 210 takes place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on April 8 and is headlined by a light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.

A four-time NCAA All-American wrestler at Edinboro University, Gillespie is unbeaten in eight professional MMA appearances. “The Gift” made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 95, where he took a unanimous decision victory over Glaico Franca on Sept. 24.

Holbrook, meanwhile, has been victorious in two of his first three UFC bouts. Most recently, the 31-year-old Indianapolis native took a split decision over Australian prospect Jake Matthews at UFC Fight Night 101 on Nov. 26. Holbrook is 12-1 as a professional overall.
