A welterweight clash between Alan Jouban and Brian Camozzi has been added to the UFC 213 lineup.
The promotion confirmed the pairing on Tuesday. UFC 213 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 8 and is headlined by a women’s bantamweight championship clash between Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko. In the co-main event, Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker will square off for the interim middleweight crown.
Jouban saw a three-fight winning streak come to an end at UFC Fight Night 107, when he suffered a second-round submission defeat to Gunnar Nelson. The 34-year-old Black House product is 6-3 during his Octagon tenure and 15-5 as a professional overall.
Camozzi, the younger brother of UFC middleweight veteran Chris Camozzi, came up short in his promotional debut, as he suffered a second-round TKO loss to Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 102. That ended a five-bout winning streak for the 25-year-old Factory X representative.
