Abdul Razak Alhassan will lock horns with Sabah Homasi in a welterweight contest at UFC 218 on Dec. 2.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the pairing on Thursday. UFC 218 takes place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and will feature a pivotal heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou. The evening’s main card will air on pay-per-view.

Alhassan won his first seven pro fights – including a 53-second knockout of Charlie Ward in his UFC debut – before falling to Omari Akhmedov via split decision in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 109 on May 28. “Judo Thunder” has finished all seven of his triumphs by knockout or technical knockout.

Homasi, meanwhile, will return to action for the first time since suffering a second-round TKO loss to Tim Means at UFC 202 in August 2016. The American Top Team representative owns an 11-6 career mark that includes appearances in Titan FC and Bellator MMA.
