UFC 295 Weigh-in Results: Title Fights Official; 2 Miss Weight

Two Ultimate Fighting Championship championship fights are now official after the UFC 295 weigh-ins.

Two fighters missed weight for the 13-fight card. First was Jamall Emmers, who came in one pound over for his featherweight fight against Dennis Buzukja. Additionally, Roosevelt Roberts came in two pounds over for his lightweight fight against Mateusz Rebecki. The two weight offenders have been fined currently undisclosed percentages of their purses.

The main event will be for the vacant light heavyweight title as former champion Jiri Prochazka takes on former middleweight king Alex Pereira. Meanwhile, the interim heavyweight championship will be on the line in the co-main event that sees Sergei Pavlovich go up against Tom Aspinall. At 261.6 pounds, Aspinall will be the slightly heavier fighter, weighing in 1.8 pounds more than the 259.8-pound Pavlovich.

Having previously vacated the title due to injury, Prochazka (29-3-1) returns to the Octagon on an impressive 13-fight winning streak. His last outing saw him claim the title via rear-naked choke over Glover Teixeira. "BJP" weighed 204.2 pounds for his return fight.

Meanwhile, Pereira (8-2) will look to avenge his coach's defeat and claim a title in a second weight division. "Poatan" most recently made a successful debut at light heavyweight by winning a split decision over Jan Blachowicz. The Brazilian weighed in at 204 pounds on the dot.

UFC 295 prelims begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+ before moving to ESPN+ and ESPNews at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The main card will air on ESPN+ pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
