UFC 74 "Respect" Weigh-in Results

UFC heavyweight champion Randy
Couture (Pictures) and challenger Gabriel Gonzaga (Pictures) stepped on the scales Friday
afternoon at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada,
making official Saturday's UFC 74 "Respect" title bout.
The 44-year-old champ exited the scales at an impressive-looking 228.5 pounds, while Gonzaga, the betting favorite, came in at 252 lbs.
Brazilian Thales Leites (Pictures) (188-lbs.) was the only fighter to register over the limit, and was given two hours by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to drop two pounds. The UFC's official Web site later reported that Leites did in fact lose the necessary weight.
