Kirk Florian competed briefly as an amateur in MMA, with one bout in June 2013, according to Sherdog.com’s database. Mixedmartialarts.com, meanwhile, credits him with three amateur bouts -- all victories. The Dover Police Department has not yet released any information regarding Florian.
Kenny Florian has served as an analyst and studio commentator for the UFC since retiring from fighting following a loss to Jose Aldo in October 2011. “The Ultimate Fighter 1” finalist compiled a 12-5 record during his promotional tenure and challenged for titles at both lightweight and featherweight.
