Robbie Lawler will attempt his first defense of the Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight title at UFC 189, but he’s not the favorite.

Two bookmakers have released betting lines for the championship bout between Lawler and MacDonald, and both have listed the challenger as the slight favorite. The event will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and air on pay-per-view.

According to BestFightOdds.com, the broker 5Dimes currently lists “Ruthless” with money line odds at +100. On the opposite end, “Red King” is getting play at -140.

In other words, a bet of $100 on Lawler would net $100 in profit, while a $100 wager on MacDonald would earn $71.43.

The other UFC 189 bout that is open for betting is the main event, which features Jose Aldo defending his featherweight belt against Conor McGregor. The champion is the favorite in that scrap.
