Ronda Rousey is on a roll with her roles.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion Saturday confirmed that she will appear in the upcoming seventh installment of “The Fast and the Furious” film franchise, revealing that she will depart for Atlanta to shoot her scenes after wrapping her role in “The Expendables 3.” This, all before she hits the gym in preparation for her Dec. 28 rematch with Miesha Tate at UFC 168.

“It’s finally official. After ‘Expendables 3,’ I'm flying to Atlanta to shoot ‘Fast 7’ before going back to [Los Angeles] for a six-week camp and defending my title,” Rousey wrote on Twitter. “[And] for those [who] doubt it can be done, put [your] money where [your] mouths are so my friends can finally get some decent returns betting on me to win.”

Rousey has seen her popularity skyrocket in the last year, appearing on the cover of ESPN The Magazine and Maxim in addition to securing roles in the aforementioned feature films. “Rowdy” captured the Strikeforce bantamweight title in 2012 and was then christened the inaugural UFC queen after Strikeforce’s dissolution. The Olympic judoka defended her UFC title for the first time this past February, submitting Liz Carmouche with a first-round armbar at UFC 157.

“Fast 7” marks the latest installment of the popular film franchise and is expected to hit theaters in July 2014. The movie will feature Vin Diesel, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ludacris and series newcomer Jason Statham.
