UFC Fairfax Weigh-in Video, Pics & Results: Chad Mendes, Ricardo Lamas Hit Marks

Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas have both tried and failed to unseat Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight boss Jose Aldo. Now, they meet one another, the carrot still very much dangling in front of them.

Team Alpha Male’s Mendes tipped the scales at 145.5 pounds ahead of his five-round clash with Lamas (145.5) in the UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas” main event on Saturday at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. Lightweight co-headliners Jorge Masvidal (*156) and Al Iaquinta (155.5) also hit their contracted weights.

UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT -- will also feature a women’s bantamweight scrap matching “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 18 winner Julianna Pena (136) with Milana Dudieva (135.5), a featherweight tilt pitting Jackson-Wink MMA rep Clay Guida (146) against Robbie Peralta (145) and a pair of lightweight battles, as “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 15 winner Michael Chiesa (155.5) meets Mitch Clarke (155) and American Top Team’s Dustin Poirier (155.5) tackles Carlos Diego Ferreira (155.5).

Two hours prior, Fox Sports 1 will also carry the entire four-fight undercard: Liz Carmouche (134.5) vs. Lauren Murphy (135), Gray Maynard (155) vs. Alexander Yakovlev (155.75), Shamil Abdurakhimov (255) vs. Timothy Johnson (263.5) and Ron Stallings (185) vs. Justin Jones (185.5).
