Promotion officials announced the welterweight pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 109 takes place at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm on May 28 and is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira. The main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1, with prelims airing immediately prior on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Additionally, the UFC also announced that a proposed heavyweight duel between Damian Grabowski and Christian Colombo has been scratched from the event due to injuries to both men.

Enkamp is 7-0 since beginning his professional career in 2013. The Stockholm native was victorious in his first appearance of 2017, scoring a first-round technical knockout triumph against Frodi Vitalis Hansen at Superior Challenge 15 on April 1. Enkamp has finished four of his wins by submission and one via TKO.

Taleb, meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Night 105 on Feb. 19. The 35-year-old Montreal native is 4-2 during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion and is 12-4 as a professional overall.

Grabowski was suffered first-round stoppage losses to Derrick Lewis and Anthony Hamilton in his first two Octagon appearances to fall to 20-4 in his pro career. Colombo, meanwhile, debuted in the promotion with a majority draw against Jarjis Danho before falling to Luis Henrique Barbosa de Oliveira via third-round submission at UFC Fight Night 100.
