American Top Team’s Dustin Poirier tipped the scales at 156 pounds ahead of his five-round confrontation with former champion Anthony Pettis (155.5) in the UFC Fight Night 120 main event on Saturday at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Meanwhile, welterweight co-headliners Matt Brown (171) and Diego Sanchez (170) were also given the green light at Friday’s official weigh-in.
UFC Fight Night 120 “Poirier vs. Pettis” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- also features a heavyweight encounter pairing Andrei Arlovski (244) with Junior Albini (265.5), a middleweight tilt pitting Nate Marquardt (185.5) against Cezar Ferreira (185), a bantamweight battle matching Raphael Assuncao (135.5) with Matthew Lopez (*138.5) and a lightweight affair slotting Joe Lauzon (155) opposite Clay Guida (155).
