UFC Fight Night 129 Update: Gabriel Benitez, Humberto Bandenay to Clash in Chile

A featherweight bout pitting Gabriel Benitez against Humberto Bandenay has been added to the UFC Fight Night 129 lineup.

Promotion officials recently announced the pairing. UFC Fight Night 129 takes place on May 19 at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile and is headlined by a welterweight showdown between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Kamaru Usman.

Benitez last appeared at UFC Fight Night 123, where he captured a decision triumph over Jason Knight on Dec. 9. “Moggly” owns a 4-2 UFC record and is 20-6 as a professional overall.

Bandenay enters the matchup on a six-bout winning streak that includes a 26-second knockout of Martin Bravo at UFC Fight Night 114 last August. The 23-year-old Lima, Peru native is 14-4 as a pro, with 11 victories coming inside the distance.
