UFC Fight Night 140 Weigh-In Results: Headliners Set; Cynthia Calvillo Misses Weight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will be voyaging to a nation that has not yet held a UFC event in its borders, giving the fans something they want with a hometown top contender facing off against a longtime UFC mainstay in the headliner.

Neil Magny stepped on the scales at 171 pounds, as he prepares to face surging Argentinian Santiago Ponzinibbio (171) in the UFC Fight Night 140 main event this Saturday at the Parque Roca Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Co-headlining the card will be a featherweight contest between former UFC featherweight title challenger Ricardo Lamas (145.5) and the relentless Darren Elkins (145), who both made weight without issue at Friday’s early weigh-ins.

UFC Fight Night 140, which kicks off the FS1 main card at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, also features a clash between light heavyweight powerhouse Khalil Rountree (204.5) and Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series Brazil signee Johnny Walker (205.5). Rounding out the main card are bouts between The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil middleweight winner Cezar Ferreira (185.5) and former interim Legacy Fighting Alliance middleweight champion Ian Heinisch (185), and bantamweight Guido Cannetti (135.5) meeting Marlon Vera (135.5). All of the main-card combatants made their proper marks.

One fighter did come in heavy: strawweight Cynthia Calvillo (118), who received a 20% fine.
