Visa issues for Canadian bantamweight Mitch Gagnon have caused his UFC Fight Night 33 bout against Alex Caceres to be postponed.

UFC officials announced the news Sunday afternoon. The matchup is expected to take place at a later date.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Queensland, Australia, and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva. The evening’s main card will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1, while the prelims will air immediately prior on Fox Sports 2.

Gagnon earned his second straight Octagon win in September, submitting Dustin Kimura with a first-round guillotine choke at UFC 165. The 29-year-old Team Shredder representative has finished all 10 of his victories, including nine inside of a round.

After falling in his first two UFC appearances at featherweight, Caceres is 4-1 with one no contest at 135 pounds. Most recently, the 25-year-old MMA Lab product took a split verdict over Roland Delorme in September.
