UFC Fight Night 94 Weigh-in Results: Dustin Poirier, Michael Johnson Cleared for Clash

Since losing to reigning featherweight champion Conor McGregor, “The Diamond” has won four in a row, three by knockout. The Louisianan’s impressive winning streak has him on a collision course for a chance at the 155-pound title and he knows a loss to Johnson would be crippling. At Friday’s weigh-ins, Poirier was as ready as ever and came on weight; he checked in officially at 156 pounds.
Johnson, meanwhile, is in desperate need of a win. After winning four straight, “The Menace” has dropped back-to-back decisions to Beneil Dariush and Nate Diaz. The Blackzilian fighter was competitive in both matches, but he can ill-afford to lose to Poirier. On Friday, he tipped the scale at 154.5 pounds in what is now the most important fight of his career.
Derek Brunson will square off against Uriah Hall in a middleweight affair while veteran Evan Dunham will oppose Rick Glenn at lightweight. Brunson came in at 186 while Hall clocked in at 185.5. Dunham, meanwhile, weighed in at 156 pounds and Glenn scaled in at 154.5.
UFC Fight Night 94 will be kicked off on UFC Fight Pass with two bouts beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. After that, the rest of the prelims and the main card will be televised live on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT until the event concludes.
